ITINERARY


Day 1. Victoria Falls

Arrival at any time.


Day 2. Victoria Falls

You can choose to visit Victoria Falls, go rafting or fly over helicopter falls.


Day 3. Victoria Falls/Kasane

Cross the border from Zimbabwe into Botswana. Opt to take a wildlife viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River or a wildlife safari drive in an open safari vehicle in Chobe National Park.


Day 4. Kasane / Gweta

Camp under old baobabs.

 

Day 5. Gweta / Maun

If you wish, fly over the delta to see it from a bird's eye view.

 

Day 6. Maun / Okavango Delta

Enjoy a guided tour, an excursion in traditional mokoro (carved canoe) and bird watching.

 

Day 7. Maun/D'kar

Spend the night at the G Adventures supported Dqae Qare San Lodge & Camp, and meet the local San Bushmen. Optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals.


Day 8. D'kar / Windhoek

After a long journey by land, which takes you to cross the border, you can explore the urban center of Windhoek if you want.

 

Day 9. Windhoek / Etosha National Park

Take a photographic safari by land vehicle through the Etosha National Park. You can choose between doing the safari in an open vehicle in the afternoon or at night.

 

Day 10. Etosha National Park

Enjoy a full-day photo safari in the Etosha National Park.

 

Day 11. Etosha National Park / Damaraland

Morning safari in land vehicle. Travel to Damaraland contemplating beautiful desert landscapes.

 

Day 12. Damaraland / Spitzkoppe

Visit the living museum of Damaraland and discover more about the lost culture of the Damara, then travel south and contemplate the granitic peaks of Spitzkoppe.

 

Day 13. Spitzkoppe / Swakopmund

Cross the Namibian Desert until you reach the adrenaline capital: Swakopmund.

 

Day 14. Swakopmund

Take your free time surfing in the dunes, parachute jumping, or touring the desert to get to know its wildlife.

 

Day 15. Swakopmund / Namib Desert

You will arrive in the afternoon, we will camp on a private farm on the edge of the Namib desert. If you wish, you can go for a walk with a local expert who will tell you about the desert and its mysteries.

 

Day 16. Namib Desert

Explore the dunes of Sossusvlei. Scale the impressive dune 45.

 

Day 17. Namib Desert / Fish River Canyon

Be captivated by the sunset in the Fish River canyon.

 

Day 18. Fish River Canyon / Orange River

Head towards the border and enter South Africa. You will camp on the picturesque Orange River that you can go canoeing.

 

Day 19. Orange River / Cederberg

It crosses large rooibos tea plantations and contemplates the spectacular landscape of the Western Cape Province.

 

Day 20. Cederberg / Cape Town

You will arrive at the vibrant Cape Town and enjoy the beautiful views of Table Mountain. You decide if you want to go out one last night with the group.
